More than 50 years after the post office closed, Mariettian’s claim
an old postmaster still haunts what is now the Marietta/Cobb Museum of
Art. Diane Parks, education and volunteer coordinator for the museum, started
as a volunteer 10 years ago and has never encountered the ghost. However,
Parks says, "there were ghost hunters that came through one day saying
they felt a definite presence in this building. So you just never know.”
